Meet the Girl With The Pink Sneakers

Hello! Welcome to my blog!

I’m the girl with the pink sneakers and I started this blog because I wanted  to share with you my journey of health and wellness. For 15 years I have been an on again off again Weight Watcher member.  If I wouldn’t have joined at the ripe young age of 14 I never would have started this journey. At that time I was 180lbs! Weight Watchers helped me to make healthier choices and encouraged me to start moving more. Health and fitness became a priority in my life. I even started doing Triathlons and currently teach fitness classes at my local YMCA.  I sometimes have a hard time realizing that just because I am a fitness fanatic doesn’t mean I can eat whatever I want. I still struggle with keeping my weight at a healthy level but I am learning how to fuel the fitness freak inside of me . I want to share with others my transformation as I strive to live a  healthy life! So come along! Join me on this journey! I’d love to hear your ideas, support, and comments!

Kristin what a great blog! I love your attitude towards exercise and diet, very inspiring! Congratulations on living such a healthy lifestyle and inspiring others to do the same 🙂

  2. I love your blog Kristin! I would love to keep more in touch with you since we seem to have such similar ways of living and eating! When I read about WW I was ilke, AH that is me!!! I am back doing that again with my mom. I have lost 25 lbs, but still have about 40 to go. I always gain alot pregnant and want that to stop! It’s so hard for me i dont’ know why. Anyway, i like the concept of watching calories, but I like to eat pure and WW encourages things artificial, etc, which I don’t like. Let’s motivate each other!!!!! 🙂

    • Thanks Sara! Good luck with your weight loss. I think WW has come a long way in promoting more whole eating but it gets a little old hearing the members talk about all the “low point” foods they eat that are really processed foods. I’m in for motivation each other!
